On October 28, 2025, a team led by Professor Jiang Bin and Professor Li Tian from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Chongqing University visited the Lizhong Research Institute for academic exchange and cooperation discussions. The visit aimed to promote the in-depth integration of industry, academia, and research, jointly driving technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the field of light alloy materials. The visiting team was received by Zang Liguo, Co-founder and Director of Lizhong Group, and Zheng Changqing, Deputy Chief Engineer of Lizhong Wheel Group.

During the visit, Professor Jiang, Professor Li, and their team toured the institute's exhibition hall, smart production line, and pilot workshop. They gained a detailed understanding of the latest progress and industrial achievements made by Lizhong Group in the R&D of high-performance aluminum alloy new materials, advanced forming technologies, and recycling technologies. Both parties engaged in a warm and in-depth discussion regarding frontier scientific issues, key technical bottlenecks, and future market applications in light alloy materials. They reached multiple consensus on key common issues such as performance optimization, preparation process upgrades, and green production technologies for magnesium-aluminum alloy materials.

Professor Jiang Bin has long been deeply engaged in the field of new magnesium alloy materials and advanced preparation and processing technologies. He has achieved a series of breakthroughs in key technologies such as texture control of magnesium alloy sheets and the processing of large-scale components, with his research results already achieving large-scale application in the automotive, rail transit, and aerospace sectors. Professor Li Tian has long been engaged in the development of lightweight casting technologies for the vehicle and aviation sectors, achieving a series of important results in the process and mold improvement of integrated magnesium alloy die-casting parts.

This exchange not only deepened mutual understanding but also laid a solid foundation for future substantive cooperation. Both parties expressed that they would take this opportunity to establish a regular exchange mechanism and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into real productive forces, jointly contributing to the advancement of science and technology and the enhancement of core competitiveness in China's light alloy materials industry.
