On January 16, 2026, a delegation from Baoding University's School of Artificial Intelligence, led by Party Branch Secretary Zhang Guangtian, Dean Li Yanling, and Robotics Engineering Program Director Hu Chong, visited the Lizhong Research Institute. Accompanied by Lizhong Group Co-founder Zang Liguo and other executives, the delegation toured the institute's exhibition hall, pilot workshop, and smart production line, engaging in in-depth discussions on topics such as automated visual recognition technology for final inspection. The visit aimed to enhance mutual understanding, explore the application potential of artificial intelligence in industrial scenarios, and lay the groundwork for future industry-university-research collaboration.

Guided by Lizhong Group leadership, the Baoding University delegation first visited the exhibition hall of the Lizhong Research Institute before proceeding to the pilot workshop and the Dong'an Light Alloy Smart Production Line. They conducted on-site inspections of the automated production line's operations, with a particular focus on the current technical requirements for visual inspection during the final quality control stage. Currently, Lizhong Wheel Group has completed the automation transformation of its casting and machining production lines and is in a critical phase of upgrading from automation to intelligence.
